Research - Sujin

 I recently discovered this artist on the Its Nice That website.

The characters that Sujin creates relate to my own as they all have a similar face, the only difference between the characters is that they are wearing different clothes and have different hairstyles.

Similar to my own work in a way that only slight elements of my face changes.

However, the characters created by Sujin are a lot more complex than mine as she creates a scene by adding elements to the background as well as considering composition as the overlaps the girls.

“I like to draw what I’m like,” she says. “My illustrations are based on my taste, which has become my style.” (From the Its Nice That website)

This quote relates to the idea behind this whole brief as she tries to relate her work to herself. Similar to what I am trying to achieve. 

The small changes in the expressions of the characters relates to the theme of my poster. The girls are all pretty sassy looking with uninterested faces (like me).
